Para cualificar como Voluntario, el solicitante debe estar interesado en ser Voluntario, debe tener 55 años o más, y pasar una prueba de antecedentes criminales.
Eligibility Requirements
El Programa de Voluntarios Mayores AmeriCorps Seniors del Instituto Hispano-Americano asigna Voluntarios para llevar a cabo un doble propósito: hacer participar a personas de 55 años o más en servicios voluntarios para satisfacer necesidades críticas de la comunidad y proporcionar a estas personas una experiencia de gran calidad que enriquezca sus vidas.

Volunteer Schedules and Benefits
Volunteers with Volunteers Friends of Puerto Rico choose how, where, and how often they wish to serve. Volunteers receive orientation before starting service and training on the organization where they will serve. Volunteers in the AmeriCorps Senior Companion Project receive a stipend of $4 per hour.
